why can't we post comments anymore on the news stories from the internet?
the yahoo uk was not allowed to post comments 6 months ago. they haven't fixed it. they blamed it on the yahoo pulse. now i can't post comments since abc news teamed up with yahoo news. is this cultural idea going down the drain? are we headed in the direction of american sharia law? does anybody care about this issue? is there a group working to protect the first amendment? is this a quick fix? should this be a question that someone ask the presidential debate? That is "what is the reasoning behind not allowing the people to post comments on stories? Why can't we put a thumbs up or down on a comment about a story? (somebody please help!!!!!)

Calm down.
It's not the liberals. It's not the Jews. It's not Obama. It's the lousy server. It happens regularly. The comments will be back. Yahoo LOVES the open comments section - as an advertising rate marker. You get that, right? Yahoo doesn't give a damn about the content, they just want countable proof that people are looking at their pages, so they can sell ads. The rudimentary, AUTOMATED language censor and thumbs up/thumbs down/comment hidden algorithm have no politics. They're simple machine programs.
But keep up the crazy, folks. It's a hoot to read!
Yahoo is part of the controlled media matrix and it appears that ABC news has got it's controlling way.
ABC News is part of the 5 huge news corporations that controls all the mainstream news you see and hear. They in turn are controlled by the dark government, the secret societies, the robber barons who fully intend to hold onto their power over us.
There are stories that the mainstream journo's just do not write about unless its in a biased or derisory way.
They are, the corruption stories against the establishment, unless the secret societies want rid of an individual, they are adverse stories NOT supporting the latest 'War du Jour', and then there is information on the Military Industrial Complex and their corporate partners and their long standing dealings with extra terrestrials since the days of Roswell; not about little green men as one might imagine, but about reversed alien technology, much of it stolen in the early days, to be used against us, the people here on Earth for the purposes of overwhelming control.
The modern day name for the MIC and their corporate buddies who share in this high tech information, and who hold the future of the world hostage because of what they do, is 'The Break Away Civilisation' as coined by Dolan; said to be 50, some say 100 years ahead of anything us dumb old prols experience on a daily basis.
We the people are kept in the dark by these evil doers, and their minions who continue to peddle their mindless celeb stories and endless sport programs to send us to sleep, stop us demanding answers from those who really runs things, and keep us buying their expensive oil and gas to run our cars and coal to heat our homes while they 'black shelve' the superior technologies that would free the world, like Zero Point electromagnetic free energy, to make maximum profit out of us until we die.
Why this terrible state of affairs? Because they can do it to us, and because we let them do it.
I just noticed that as well and do not know why. It does make it easier for yahoo to post biased news stories without people objecting. Right now yahoo is presenting a story about the illegals leaving Alabama. They are trying to say it is a bad thing and that the construction jobs are vacant of employees to the point that construction has come to a halt and that Americans will not do the jobs. This is bull, any American that needs to feed his family will gladly fill the construction position. I am glad to see that literally thousands of illegals are leaving Alabama. It would be better for yahoo to put a positive spin on the story and shout "Jobs in Alabama. Workers needed in Alabama ! Politicians. Thank you Alabama for doing the right thing.
\\\I can assure you that Yahoo/MSN (ABC is owned by Disney so not sure where that person got their info) aren t going to give up the revenue they get from advertising for any comments and rants from readers on their political agenda or parties, or for any other reason. That s not to say, any particular article, by any news source may or may not have slanted view on any given article. It s just that they don t really care how we reply and/or how often we reply to it s articles. In fact they want us to reply. Every time we read or comment on a story that is recorded as a click and the site charges advertisers partly based on clicks or views. The more we disagree and complain and click the more they make, the more we agree and click the more they make, it s marketing genius! So I am sure it will be back, it s probably server issues or technical difficulties like the guy said...
It's not right. I'm quitting yahoo, and CNBC. They think they can control the market, and the news. I'm done. Maybe I'll start my own media service. Headline. Who cares if Feds raise rates, and why do we let them play the pull the rabbit out of the hat trick on what the market does.
