Trade offered: Schaub for Meacham. Should I take it?

I was offered Matt Schaub for Robert Meacham. My QB's are Josh Freeman and Kevin Kolb. I plan to use Freeman most of the time. With Andre Johnson out for a while, and them likely running the ball a lot with Foster back and Johnson out, is Schaub even that much of an upgrade from Kolb? Would I be better off keeping Meacham? I do have good receivers, we start two and I have Welker, Bowe, and Mike Williams (TB)

Well it's a 12 team league but we only start 2 WR, and one Flex, so, most weeks I can put a good combination of 2 WR's between Welker, Bowe, Mike Williams and Meacham. I think that's ok, not great, but considering I went RB 1 and 2 in the draft (McFadden and Mccoy) Im happy

You don't say how big your league is, and that's important, because it helps figure out how much of an upgrade you need. For example, unless this is like 14 teams or something, I don't agree you have good WRs, and with bye weeks kicking in, you don't have enough depth, even WITH Meachem.

So that alone means the trade is a bad idea, but there's not enough info here to figure out what you're trying to do, and why.

PS - To the first guy, don't assume Schaub's passing game is dead. It takes a hit, but he's still in better shape than Philip Rivers. He's got weapons, and Foster is one of them.

I say take it.. you can't play schaub with freeman.. at least you can play meacham. and they're going to start running the ball now that johnson is out.. i'm kinda screwed .. in the same scenario..
