And I'm not talking Pitchfork-core overrated, I mean generally overrated. I've given it several tries and have a hard time finding it better than average.
Any albums that garner top-tier reviews, that you don't think are anything special?
And please stray from the typical answers, I understand not everyone likes Sgt. Peppers, etc.

I've always thought it was overrated from Pitchfork, but from other media outlets it receives hardly any attention. I think it receives a fair amount all-in-all. I'd personally give it an 8/10

You Forgot It In People by Broken Social Scene
Source Tags & Codes by ....And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
De-Loused In The Comatorium by The Mars Volta
I still listen to this albums a reasonable amount, I just don't think they deserve as much praise as they receive.
