Not by a cop, by some random guy. Can he tell the cops and then have the cops press charges. We left right away but he probably wrote down the license number. Can anything bad happen?
Suppose he took pictures or something... I dont know how long he was there... could he sell them to a news station or the paper and get a story about it published?

well I think he might need have proves of that. he could only use his word to acuse you but there's not evidence to find you guilt. don't worry I find very unlikely the guy go to acuse you. I wouldn't
