If I put 'peel and stick' flooring over the tile linoleum floor in a rented apartment, will it be possible to?

If you put the tile on , you will not be able to completely remove the tile without leaving some adhesive behind and possibly damaging the linoleum. The other possible problem is, if the linoleum has any areas that are firmly adhered to the subsurface , you will have "bubbles" where the tile will "pull" as the adhesive cures....Show more

You will scuff up the linoleum underneath when you remove them. But. I guess how much work you want to do before you move is up to you. You would have to remove everyone that is stuck down good with a propane torch and a five in one scraper. Then scrub all the glue off the linoleum with goof off and water. Also if your going under a carpet bar with them. You will have a gap where you took them out. You might be able to beat it back down though. Its possible only with no mistakes.
