0=2cosx-cosx tried identities, can't solve ?

it's confusing. i've tried a bunch of trig rules and identities and still nothing. help?

2cosx-cosx=0
take cosx common so,
cosx=0
now we can write o=cos(pie/2) pie =180

so we get

cosx=cos(90)

x=pie/2
