DOE Caught Removing Company’s Name From Old Press Releases

Thanks to CNBC, the Department of Energy has been caught removing references to “SunPower,” a solar energy company that was given $1.2 billion in loan guarantees, from old press releases (H/T Hotair).

“The changes occurred in two press releases from the Department of Energy’s loan guarantee program — the same program that has been the center of controversy surrounding the failed solar company Solyndra,” reports Eamon Javers of CNBC.

“Both were changed to remove the name of a company that has received negative press attention in recent days, SunPower, and replace it with the name of another company, NRG Energy,” he added.

Looks like it. The spin-doctors are not going to be able to cover for Obama's mis-deeds much longer. I'm sure there will be much more of these little asides in the coming months. I just wish people had the guts to bring this stuff forward sooner, instead of waiting for the run-up to the elections.

This should be an impeachable offense. Yet the media is focused on the murder of Qaddafi and the Flea Party on Wall Street and of course, baby Lisa, whose parents should have already been hit with phone books until they confess!

Just like Fast and Furious, we'll never know who is involved now since DOE and DOJ has gotten to those who are below them. You can bet your azz, Obama is involved as deep as you can get in BOTH and much more also!

Just the links you offered tells me it likely has a neoconservative spin to it.

It'd be nice to see us move to alternative energies, but I don't know how it can be done efficiently.

Edit: Like Fox News has no spin? Sorry, but your sources are not credible to me. Even if this one just happens to be 100% truth (which it very likely could be), I don't trust neoconservative National Review to be honest, and conservativebyte makes me already think they have a bias. I'd prefer a different source.
