In honor of Halloween. What's your favorite horror themed song?
Mine's Phobophile by Cryptopsy. The atmosphere is perfect, and the lyrics delve into the psyche of a madman...too bad Lord Worm is impossible to understand.
BQ: Favorite horror film?
My vote has to go to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Great acting as far as slasher films go, the way it was shot gives the film a gritty sense of realism and the fact that there's very little gore works in the films favor.

The song was about John Entwhistle's incredible fear of spiders.
BQ:God I have so many. One thing about me is I'm partial to films of the 1920's and 1930's,now that having been said,my all time favorite horror movie is:
Dracula (1931) starring Bela Lugosi.
Why?
Because(all you Twilight fans should pay attention to this)Lugosi established for all time how a vampire looks, how a vampire talks and how a vampire behaves.
He didn't basically spend the whole movie(unlike the sparkly vampires of Twilight)basicall moaning:"I'm immortal, attractive and miserable!"
He didn't spend the whole film in angst,in fact the closest thing we ever got to agnst from Lugosi's Dracula was when he said:"To die,be really dead, that must be glorious."That one statement summed up his pain.state of mind,he didn't spend the whole movie going on about how agnst ridden he was(unlike Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker's Dracula).
Lugosi's Dracula was often imitated, but never duplicated.Anyone nowadays who plays Dracula or any vampiric character always winds up trying to channel Lugosi's 1931 performance as Dracula and many of them fail miserably.
