Looks like a burnout to me...wouldn't there be smoke coming out of the hood too??All I see is steam from the radiator. He's been fortunate enough to do many burnouts so I would think Toyota would have a picture of one of them instead of a blown motor.
It actually looks like a blown engine to me, Kyle does donuts and not burnouts. Kyle is going straight down on the apron, if he was doing a burnout you'd see him near the start/finish line and at least on the race surface. Who would do a burnout on the apron? And that wasn't in the middle of a donut because then you'd see smoke towards the side, not straight out the back. If it was a burnout you'd see a lot more and thicker smoke around the rear tires. Also I've seen blown engines where you only see smoke come out the back which it coming from the exhaust, not the engine itself. I know every manufacturer and team has had a blown motor so I'm not going to laugh at Kyle getting a blown engine.
Blown motor. If it were a burnout there would be smoke inside the car, and there is none. Also the radiator is overflowing. I have never seen a burnout cause a car to overheat. Not to say it isn't possible.
It looks like a blown engine to me, though I don't see any smoke coming from under the hood. It's too straight of a line to be a burnout in my opinion. Surely they didn't make that mistake though.
That's funnier than hell : ) I think that's one of those rolling burnouts, where the car eventually goes sideways because the back end wants to beat out the front. I like those kind of burnouts because they're harder to do. They just switch the brake bias to the front wheels and let the car move forward while the tires are smoking. I'm sure they wouldn't use a picture of Kyle blowing his engine because one of the NASCAR fans would surely remember the burnout and the race etc. If you look at the front splitter you can see the front end off the ground because of all the torque being laid down on the pavement, and there is no smoke under the chassis to indicate a blown engine. I'm sure they used a slower shutter speed on the camera to blur the background or whatever they did. Kyle has had enough practice to get a rolling burnout down. But I guess that's what you get when you drive a Toyota. I would rather see an American, red, white, and blue burnout, by someone who knows how to work the chase races http://youtu.be/lJcI2U4cHC0
