I have a Hyundai Getz/Click 1.4 2005 and it smells petrol from inside the car. What could be the cause?

My uncle got it checked last time but he said that the mechanic there didn't smell anything.

Could be various things, gas cap bad,leak in evaporative system, tank filler tube, leaking fuel line or fuel injector. Suggest a visual check under bonnet and underneath car. The first two usually turn on check engine light. If you have any warranty left take to dealer.
