does it sound like my baby could be allergic to our new puppy?

hi we got a staffy x puppy last night hes 8 wks old and this morning he was on our bed and so was our 10 month old, she didnt really touch him last night because she went to bed not long after we picked him up. but this morning she was touching his nose and his ears and almost straight away she started to sneeze and rub her eyes and breath a bit funny. i stood up with her and walked in a different room and she stopped. she hasnt really touched him since because shes still not too sure about him.
does this sound like an allergy/reaction to him or could it be something else? the way her breathing sounded scared me a bit

I would definately consider it being an allergy, she is to young to do any type of allergy testing on effectively so you will have to go with your gut. You may want to take the dog out of the home for awhile and see if this type of things recurs even when the dog i not around. If your really nervous about it go to a doctor and get his/her opinion on it.

Youu should deff check it out with her pediatrician
maybe she is allergic to the dog if she was breathing in
a concerning way. You should keep the pup away for the
