So basically you need to choose 12 players that you think is the best NBA team put together. And you cannot have a team of JUST superstars, it has to be a team that you believe could TECHNICALLY be put together.
PG- Rondo, Andre miller SG- Ray Allen, JR Smith SF-Granger, Batum PF-LaMarcus, Rashard Lewis C-McGee, Ben Wallace
Backup: Jeff pendagraph, Rudy Fernandez
Pros: Very balanced team where no one player needs the ball in there hands to be effective so with this Rondo would easily average 12pts and 11 or 12 ast a game. Granger and ray spread the floor to make life in the paint easier for LA and McGee.
Cons: their is no true superstar on the team so clutch situations might cause some trouble. The backup squad is very defensive oriented and does not leave slot of room to put points on the board which can also cause problems late in the 3rd and a little into the 4th while the starters are on the bench
Overal: 9/10 they would easily be I'm the top 3 best teams and can make repeat appearances to the finals and they'd probably get about 55-60 wins per year

PG- Rondo , Bibby SG- Tyreke Evans , Courtney Lee SF- Richard Jefferson , Kyle Korver PF- Al Thorton , Yi Jian Lian C- Kendrick Perkins , Joe Smith Back up: Adam Morrison , Matt Bonner
Pros : An offensive team with no limits , they can have Perkins or Rondo take it inside , or Evans and Thorton get the mid range jumper , or Jefferson who can do anything in the offensive side in a streaky way . As for the bench , its more based on a 3 point shooting lineup with Yi and smith occaisonally taking it inside .
Cons : Only Perkins has the ability to defend the inside well , the team has a horrible free throw lineup which will probablly lead them to having a 75% ft shooting as a team , the bench has no consitant defender and no one can really take up the role of rondo or evans if they get sidelined.
Overall: 9/10 it may take them a year or 2 to reach succes since they are a young team and they still need to mature a bit. . They will probablly win around 54 games a year and be force in the playoffs , they are fully capable of getting a championship if they stay healthy .
Deron Williams, Andre Miller Tyreke Evans, JJ Redick Andre Igoudala, Marvin Williams Paul Millsap, Boris Diaw Roy Hibbert, Anderson Varejao
Backup: Channing Frye, Ben Wallace
Williams can rebound pass and score and will be the first option on offense, he can dish the ball to Evans and Iggy on the Wings who will be the key factor as they are both Strong and can finish on Contact. Williams can also feed the ball no the pick and roll to Hibbert all night. Millsap one of the most under rated players can play gritty D, make free throws and Grab as many boards as Hibbert.
With the 2nd Unit Varejao a defensive Centre can bring energy of the bench and relive Hibbert if he is struggling on some of the better C in the league. With Evans and Iggy driving all game they can easily dish the ball out to Diaw and Reddick on the 3pt line and he will fill up points quickly off the bench. Marvin Williams is 26 and coming into his prime and would make a great backup on a contending team like this. Andre Miller is one of the most consistant players in the league and rarely gets injured.
Cons: A lot of players need the ball in their hand.
PG: Stephen Curry/ Ty Lawson SG: James Harden/ Tony Allen SF: Andre Iguodala/ Shane Battier PF: Serge Ibaka/ Taj Gibson C: Dwight Howard/ DeAndre Jordan
This team is pretty realistic, and possible. Dwight is your star, while Curry, Harden, Iggy and Ibaka complement him well. Curry, Ibaka, Jordan, Gibson and Harden are all in their rookie contracts, so this is very much possible. You have the best post scorer in Howard and slashers in Iggy and Harden who can also shoot. Curry is an underrated scorer, who can drain from anywhere. Ibaka and Howard would be very scary defensively, I'd say over 6 blocks with both of them together. Rebounding would not be a problem, between the two they would grab over 20 boards. Lawson is a a very good PG, Allen and Battier for defense, and Gibson and Jordan for bench scoring.
