Iphone 4 technical help? Iphone died?

My Iphone 4 which I have had for over 1 year recently just died. The battery was at 98% this morning and then when I tried to check my GPS, it wouldnt turn on. I have been charging it for over an hour, so its not a dead battery, and i have tried holding the sleep and home buttons for 15 seconds. What can I do?
