Is it a fair thing to say that Jehovah's Witnesses believe the archangel Michael is the Creator?

They believe Jesus is Michael. They believe he was created by God and all other things were created by God and Jesus. This is due to their grossly mistranslated bible. Their bible inserts the word other 4 times into Col. 1:15-17. It is not in the original Greek, nor is it implied. This is a section where Jesus is described as being the creator of all things. Since the Jehovah's Witness organization believes that Jesus is created, they have inserted the word "other" to show that Jesus was before all "other" things, implying that He is created. There are two Greek words for "other": heteros, and allos. The first means another of a different kind, and the second means another of the same kind. Neither is used at all in this section of scripture. The Jehovah's Witness have changed the Bible to make it fit their aberrant theology.
Although I am not big on spreading WT literature, this is from there site to prove my point...

They believe that Archangel Michael is Jesus in his heavenly warrior form, and that he cast the devil out of the heavens down onto the earth - and that now the devil is manifest as the system of things, causing division and chaos amongst mankind.

Jehovah, or YHWH (yahweh) translates into something like ''the becoming''

In the original text of the bible, the angels names all end in 'el' Michael, gabriel etc... The syllable 'el' in that language means God. and each angels name refers to an aspect of Gods being.
I am pretty sure Michael translates into 'Power of god'
our english translation is inadequate and always will be - unless you are prepared acquire a lot of information - and to be honest, knowing a lot of that information (despite what many will say there is so much understanding in the ancient books) but despite knowing a lot - really, all you need to do is love, live and laugh the best you can, there is a lot of learning and knowledge to be acquired in living that way.

No, only a person who doesn't know or understand what Jehovah's Witnesses teach and what the Bible says would believe this.

Most people are surprised to know that John Calvin a trinitarian, taught that Jesus was also known as Michael,

Okay you are annoying me now. This is the third question I've seen from you regarding Michael the Archangel. And no, I don't believe the JW's believe this. They believe Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man.

I'm afraid the proper answer to your question will shake your beliefs to its very foundations. So I'm not sure whether or not you are really interested in the answer or are just scribbling to attack the J. Witnesses beliefs. However, if you really want the true (and Scripturally provable) answer, then I will give it to you. But note my warning above.
PS: I am not, have never been, and will never be, a J. Witness.
