I have A bully! Please Help me!!! URGENT?

Question

Okay I am 14 nearly 15. This girl who used to be my best friend who isn't my friend anymore is horrible to me, she keeps keeps calling me gay because i dont like anybody or have a boyfriend and she tells everyone I punched her! I couldnt have punched her she is bigger than me, I am not that violent and she tackled me she hit my thigh, kicked my foot and hit my arm (non-contact rugby in Sports class today) My school doesn't have a guidance counselor and I can't call ChildLine, I don't know how to tell my mother we aren't that close and I'm scared she'll interfere and she might want to hear the girls side of the story and if she does the girl will lie for sure and my mother will believe her. I already hated because of her so if I tell the school I'll be even more harassed by the year group. I had another bully but my aunt texted him saying she'll call the school (actually it was me) but i cant do that with that girl because she is much tougher and everyone will hate me. 
I dont know if i should tell my mum, if i should how?

Try and talk to the bully and see why she is doing this. Maybe you can find a solution that way. 
Or alternatively get a bunch of boys who like you to beat her up. That's only if everything else fails

If i were in your shoes, i'd tell the principal and your mother. What's worse, everybody hating you and your ex-friend bullying you, or telling your mom and principal then getting the problem resolved. 
I'm HIGHLY against bullying so good luck and be smart about your choices.

She sounds like a *****, girl dont ever let anyone tlk to you like tht usually the way i see it most people pick on other people cuz they are insecure bout themselves. Dont take her crap give her what she deserves. And bout ur mom, just tell her. 2 weeks from now she wont even remember talkin bout it.

She probably just feels bad, but expresses it in a way that she harasses you. 

So just ignore her as much as you can, so it'll show her that you don't care what she says, and that bullying is just pointless.
