Question to burm owners. ?

I recently bought my first burm home and overall he's doing great - no concerns. He's a real hisser though. Not really in a defensive manner, which is why it's kind of strange. He's just really vocal and hisses a lot but he's quite tame and easy to handle. Compare to the other pythons and boas that I keep, he hisses a lot. Im looking for answers from people who own or have experience with Burms specifically if they're naturally vocal like this is he just extra grumpy?

Yeah sounds like what you are saying he may just be vocal aka grumpy in away he just does not bite witch is good lol and with him being new he just may still not got used to his new home or he may take little more time getting used to things like you going in his cage etc. I say no time he will stop if not and never try to bite then yeah hes just going to be a singer =)

Best of luck

He might be a talker! Couple of my pythons are just chatty like that! That's nOthing to worry about. If the hisses are more like whistles though, he could have RI! But if not, he's just talking to you! :)

should be nothing to worry about , sometimes they are like that ,but make sure that it is hissing and not a breathing issue
