There are times you type in numbers like your credit card, etc on the computer at a particular website. Then the next time you are on the website...the computer remembers the numbers you typed to make it easier the next time you log on...How do you delete that so the computer doesn't remember anymore? I feel uncomfortable when I do online banking and my computer automatically remembers my bank card number. I want to physically type it everytime for safety reasons.

It depends on the browser you are using. For example, in Firefox, you go to the menu, Tools, Clear Recent History and check items such as: Clear Recent History Form and Search History, Active Logins, Site Preferences and even Cookies. If you aren't too sure and feel paranoid, check all the options, restart the browser, head to your bank's site and log in manually. There is a program I recommend each time a friend or family member asks a question like yours, ...it's called KeyScrambler. It's a program that encrypts your key strokes (say, when you enter your credit card number or user name, shifts what you type into a different letter, number or symbol so, if anyone tries to intercept your connection they'll read gibberish on their end and not what you actually sent to the bank, etc). Clear out the cookies from your browser and the next time you use that web-site look for a box to check or un-check that indicates you don't want them to remember your credit card #.
