Network router problems?

I have an internet router in my home that is used by a computer, two laptops and a PS3. When i first made a network, it was believed that i didnt protect it. So for that time, i had an unprotected network. Then i managed to make a protected network. But on one of my laptops, i see my old connection still unprotected. How do i put a password on it or possibly delete the connection. Thanks

Now that your router is protected, the fact that you still have the details of your old network listed on the laptop should not matter. Did you change the network name (SSID) when you protected your network?

Deleting the details of your old network will depend on what is actually managing the network in your laptop. It could be managed by a utility provided by the WiFi chip manufacturer or the PC manufacturer, or it could be managed by a feature in the operating system (Windows, Linux or MAC-OS). You will need to get into the appropriate software where the details of the network are defined. There you should be able to select the old network details and delete them.

Unfortunately the different operating systems (including different versions of Windows) and the different manufacturers' utilities are all different in the way they work, and it is not possible give you more information at this time.
