This subject fascinates me. I do believe that they are real, although I've never had any personal experiences myself. It just seems that there are too many claims and evidence for it to be made up by all these thousands of people and families who share their stories. Why would they make it up? So please, share your (true) story if you have a good one! I'd love to read it.

I do personally believe in the existence of ghosts and spirits and have had a few encounters that were indeed unexplainable. It is certainly a phenomenon that is shared by numerious individuals all over the world throughout history. Once while working at a hotel there were encounters that some guests and employees had claimed were a ghost. Noises late in the night, names being called out and strange smells were some of what some had experienced.
One night an airline flight attendant called down and something strange happened.When I asked her what was wrong she was hesitant but claimed that while she was sitting on the bed she said something sat on the bed next to her. I could tell in her voice that she was a bit rattled and offered to move her to another room and she accepted.One time I had even heard whistling when I was alone. I went to see if there was someone there but there was not.
On another occasion I was walking through a corridor just outside a banquet room I saw the double doors try to open. Like some one was inside the room and they (it) were pushing open the locked doors. They probably came out about 3 or 4 inches but they couldn't open because they were locked. No one was there , it was only me at that time,it was a little creepy . After a friend and coworker said she heard a mans voice say "hello" to her I started to think that I might and try to help it move along. She said she heard the mans voice while walking past an elevator , the door opened on its own and from inside the elevator she heard the voice. It sounded strange.
Another night wile alone again I went into the banquet room where I had my experience and asked it if it wanted to move along. I said a prayer and told the spirit that it was ok to move to the other side. I felt a peace for a little bit but did not think much about it. It was something that I thought Id try. I had not had any more experiences after that. I cannot say it worked, I cannot say that there was even a ghost at all but we all know what we experienced.There are many mysteries out there and ghosts and spirits are very much a part of them. I can only smile when I hear some say ghost are not real. It's just one of the things you have to experience for yourself a couple of times. I'm not talking about photos, videos, or evp or whatever else that's floating around out there. For me they are real period. A little food for thought while watching these ghost hunters shows ask yourself this question. If it is not know how ghost became to be or manifest how can one build or utilize equipment to detect them? Some say ghost need energy to show themselves or interact with the environment then why turn off the lights? Lights that are on produce more energy than ones that are not, right?

No, ghosts don't exist. Sometimes when I am at home alone I can hear some little noise, but this noises probably because of the wind is coming from the open windows and the wing can move little tiny things.But there are other explanations for it.

Ok here is one of many true sightings I have had and you can verify this one. I was sitting in my patrol car out front of the Sheriff Dept one night doing paper work on a guy I just arrested and it was about 3:30am and the moon was almost full but enough where you could see with out a light in the TN mountains in Johnson co. Something caught my eye and I glanced up looking thru my wind shield and thought it was a guy but I was also tired and my 6 th chakra was going crazy which is your 3rd eye if you don't know. I glanced back down to the report I was writing thinking to my self I will soon see that guy walk out of that little vending machine room next to the Sheriff Dept and he will probably want to ask me a question and here I am ready to get off work. But when he never came out I went in to see what was up and nobody was there, no way he could have left without walking in front of my car, one way in one way out. So I went into the jail and asked them if they saw anybody on camera and back then we used blk and wht old cameras and they said you probably saw Deputy Lunsford. They said he was killed in the parking lot by a escaped prisoner while walking from his patrol car to the Jail. One shot to the head killed instantly. They said he shows up on those cameras going into the vending room that was once the main entrance to the jail. I never new who Deputy Lunsford was until that night but I made it a point to find out after that.

Ghosts do exist I can promise you. I have one in my home who is the former owner of the property. My friend saw him last night for the first time. It was funny just to see the expression on her face.
