Ways to play DVD on laptop without Windows Media Player? (Windows 7)?

I'm trying to play a DVD on my laptop. When I try through Media Player, it says it is in a format which it does not support. Is there any other program I can use that doesn't require downloading?

Im not sure, try VLC or BSplayer, else see if you have Cyberlink PowerDVD or simillar program
