Would you say that slave songs were a large part of Frederick Douglass's life in his narrative?
Overall, in what way were the slave songs an important role in Douglass's life?
Looking back, this somewhat looks like I'm trying to get homework answers. x) But really, I would just like to get some other opinions on the topic.
Oh, and happy holidays!(:
@Lynn- I understand that slave songs wee important to slavery as a whole. What I want to know is whether or not people see slave songs as being important to Douglass specifically.
