Should I buy Cities XL 2012 or 2011?

So I'm probably going to buy one of the above titles, but I don't know which one to buy. Cities 2012 looks cool, but 2011 is cheaper. I read online that the it wasn't worth upgrading from 2011 to 2012. Still, what should I do?

There's not much of a difference between the two. 2012 has a few new maps and some new buildings. Gameplay is exactly the same. I say go with 2011, and then update/patch it.
