i bought sims 3 pets yesterday and installed it today :3 i was excited to make horses, dogs ect. but when it came to create them, the animals were mutated? :S i was really disapointed and cannot get it fixed :( everything else on the game is fine but that :(i looked up solutions and apparently its a glitch that EA are currently fixing and will take two weeks to fix, the problem is that was stated two months ago :S is there a solution or have i wasted my money on pets? :(

You didn't waste your money, but you're going to have to spend a whole lot more to get it to work. Your graphics card is not supported, therefore you need a new one, and those can be a bit expensive. The system requirements for Sims 3 Pets were more specific because of all the new animations and the pets themselves. In order to fix it, you'll have to get a supported graphics card. Depending on whether you have a PC or Mac, the requirements will vary.

If your graphic card is not listed in the supported graphic cards list, you'll need a new one. I had this problem and called technical support, and though they said nothing about a patch, they did get my game fixed by recommending a new graphic card.

Did you download the latest patch? That was supposed to fix weird looking pets.
It's not a glitch with the game for the most part; it's a compatibility issue with your graphics card. They eliminated a lot of compatible ones when they released Pets.
you didnt waste money...a LOT, as in nearly every patch, has a bug that needs to be fixed...just wait for the newest and ity should go away...and make sure it's up to date anyway
