Socks first. Then find the shoes (which may be in another room.) Shoe/tie, then shoe/tie -- since the foot's already lifted right there. Left than right, but no idea why. Maybe because that leg bends up more easily.
As a kid I pondered this whole ordering. My very practical mom says if she knew that's what i was doing for hours when she was waiting for me to get dressed....
Thinking about the details is would make you an introspective, detail observant, investigative person. Which order (all-one-foot vs. all-one-type first) probably has to do with sense of needing to complete, pushing to get things done quickly, vs. more methodical covering the whole span (respectively).
I can change from this ordering if I happen to use another at the moment, but this is my most usual.
Please give your thoughts before closing this!!!!

right here right here....absolutely everyone who prefers sock, shoe, sock, shoe is off their rocker. I advise they in all threat wipe lower back -to- front too!!!! One coated foot and one bare one would reason a harm interior the time -area continuim, throwing the whole universe outta whack. Symmetry is each and every thing. i'm a tad diverse nevertheless cuz i bypass sock, sock, pant leg suitable, pant leg left, left shoe, suitable shoe. i'm taking the medicine now nevertheless so the rfile says i would be superb in like 3 years. Hoorayy for me and myself!!!

Definitely a sock sock, shoe shoe. I hate the feeling when one foot is completely shod, and the other is still stark naked. It just feels all wrong. Things should happen in order, and left-right symmetry is very important to me.

In the winter it's sock/sock/boot
In spring and summer it's sock/shoe.
In the summer it's foot/shoe or foot/foot.
