Why are skinny jeans for boys so popular now? I see lots more guys in my school wearing them?

Fashion changes over time. We went through a baggy jeans period and are moving into a skinny jeans period. What's funny is how we make distinctions between guy and girl fashions. A few years ago if a guy wanted skinny jeans he'd have to buy girl jeans and a lot of people would call him gay. Now suddenly guys, many of whom were laughing at skinny jeans before, want to dress like the "gay" guy. We've gone through a period of long baggy tshirts. Can tight form-fitting shirts be far behind? Cuz every time period has a style for a season or two depending on how much ppl like it sumtimes it becomes customary from then on like the skinny jeans they cater to new age young boys to even men but its good to try difrent fashion trends it makes u cool cuz you get your own swagger in how u mix your clothes so dont be afraid to try stuff even if u bagged on it before.
