Has This Ever Happened With Anyone Else?

So tonight I was getting my ski gear together for a P.E. trip tomorrow, and I had to go up to my room where my leopard gecko was. The first time I was up there, I realized that one hide wasn't in the right place, so I checked to see if my gecko was anywhere, I didn't see it, and when I moved it, it ran into its hide. Then later, I came up again and saw it was walking into its food dish and when I came back it was staring at me. I left and came back up again to get more stuff, and it was staring at me again, so I stared back for at LEAST one and a half minutes (I thought it would be fair since the gecko was staring first), and then it looked away and fell asleep in its food bowl. I don't know what that means, but I know it has to mean something since it usually freaks out whenever I look at it for too long and it leaves (usually at night). I think it may mean it's getting used to me, but I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen before with a new leopard gecko and if their behavior changed at all afterwards.
If you read all the way to the end of this, thanks!

Ha ha very funny. You didn't even read the entire thing, Jane. If you would notice that I asked for people that have seen behavior changes after anything like this happened to them to answer, not people trying out crappy jokes.
