Crush Advice! Please help me what can i do?

Hey I am not this user I'm a friend of this user. Okay I like this guy I used to see him like a lot because we are both in the same sports club and its a very small club, he is older than me by a year and some months. He disappeared for a long time and he recently began to show up but barely and i think we kinda faded away! Now everytime I see him all we say is hi and I'm usually the one who says hi! when he went away I realised I liked him. I don't know what to do! My friend suggested I facebook message him but i think it would be too unexpected! Please help me! 
PS: I dont have his number.

Facebook message is too impersonal and may seem a little creepy.
If I were you, I'd try to spend more time with him when I saw him. For example, when you say hi to him, ask him how his day was, what he's doing during the weekend, etc... If he seems receptive, invite him on a group activity, like going bowling with a group of friends, or a party... If he is willing, it's a good sign. Then, just spend more time talking to him, smile, laugh, etc. There should be plenty of signs as to whether he likes you back or not. If it seems like he does, then just go right out and say it! If it doesn't, don't push it. You can't force someone to like you. Hope I helped :)
