I saw an episode of rachael ray sometime last year and she had a guy on there that had quick fix tips. So he had some type of an aluminum sticker and repaired a dingy white fridge. I forgot the name of the guy but more importantly forgot the term for this aluminum sticker. Is anyone familiar with it? I would really want to know the right term so I can go out and get it.

I don't know about this aluminum sticker, but I know there are rolls of adhesive backed, aluminum tape in the ducting section of your home improvement store. They are typically used to seal gaps in HVAC ductwork, but they can be adapted to many other uses.
A roll is not that expensive, either.

There is a aluminum product that is self adhesive you will find it in any respectable hardware store its called self adhesive aluminum flashing
