I get the impression from that video that the Lakers should have won by about 30 points and Kobe scored about 55.

Passing Shaq on the all-time scoring list is a pretty significant milestone, so I guess I can highlights from that particular game being Kobe-intensive.

My favorite quote from the commentator, after the Kobe reverse layup in the third... "One more look at this... the defense couldn't stop him, though he did go cold in the second half."

So apparently if you're playing the Lakers you really have no chance of defending against Kobe. You just have to cross your fingers and hope he will suddenly, inexplicably, "go cold" and miss his shots. Those misses will have nothing to do with your defense.

Because.....It's Kobe. When kids shoot a piece of paper in the trash they don't yell "Meta World Peace", they yell "Kobe". But on a serious note: Because he just passed Shaquille O'Neal in the all time Laker scoring list.

Because its Business. More highlights of a popular player the more people would spend on his product(s) and/ or team.
