how much is this going to improve my performance?
going from 128MB RAM to 512mb RAM
667MHz P3 to 1.1GHz P3
integrated video to 9200SE 128MB PCI video card,
i only use this computer for older games that run on windows 98 SE like NFS 2, NFS 3.

that should make it Very quick, when you take into account the fact windows 98se was designed and coded to run on hardware like that so technically back in the day when 98 was the best OS that would have bin a Very high end PC :) i have a 98 machine with 384mb ram and 733mhz CPU and that runs old games great.

500 MHz increase, Obviously.
400MB RAM increase... meh.

Based on the games you listed, negligible to nothing. Both of those games' requirements are well within your original specs, let alone the upgraded ones. You should not have had any issues running those games. NFS2 doesn't even use graphics acceleration.

The ram should help a lot but still slow for todays standards.
