Easy, since you already know her.
If you want it to be sincere, ask her in person or phone call...not facebook. Good luck.

Aaaaawe thats cute! But you know what would be even cuter? (If you go to the same school as her) write A POEM (short and simple is the best) on a note to ask her out and stick it in her locker, she'd probably like that WAY better then a facebook message. Write something that follows the three S rule (short, sweet, simple). A good first date might be something a little less romantic, like going to the movies. But hey its Valentines day so take her out on a picnic! Its romantic but not creepy :)

Please don't ask her out on Facebook. If you're too nervous in person, give her a call. Don't ask her out to do anything too elaborate. It's just a first date. I realize its Valentines Day, but keep it simple. Maybe coffee. Or movie night with Chinese takeout. You could say something like, "hey, do you want to get some chinese and watch movies at my place?" Pretty easy. Good luck!
Boatin' in VA!
Ryan, FB? Really? Cold my friend...real cold...for a first date. And...why would you want to ask her out for a 1st date on V Day? Isn't that a day for lovers and not 1st dates?
Ask her out "afterwards." Then come back a year from now and let us know if you two are still together, okay?

if u know her i think it would b more sweet if u ask her in person rather than facebook cuz it won't look like u r seriously interested in her. and as for a first date, i would suggest a nice simple dinner so u guys can get to know each other a little better :) hope this helps
