I m coming to australia next week. whats the cheapest way to stay in touch. from. USA?

I just want to know if I can just buy a Sim card for my smart phone and use it. If so , how is The price? I don't want to use hotel phone on my credit card..

Also check out internet options. In a lot of shopping centres there are computers and there are internet cafes around. It's like $2 for 20 minutes or 1/2 an hour or so. You can e-mail people or contact people via Facebook...
