hi i was wondering if anyone could help me with a little troubleshooting to see if this could work
system specs:
Original acer motherboard M3641
3gb ddr2 ram
intel core quad cpu Q6600 @ 2,4 ghz
bog standard 250w pants psu
nVIDIA MCP73PV chipset
i was wondering would i be able to duel screen with the inbuilt graphics card on the motherboard, or should i upgrade psu and get a new gpu? and would this work?

This all comes down to what you want from the system.
You could purchase a splitter for about £5 and have cloned monitors very easily with no hassle.
However you sound like the kind of person who wants a Split or extended monitor .
Unfortunately for this you really will need an upgraded GPU (Something with two connectors)
This would probably need a new PSU to provide additional power for the GPU.
You might want to consider an older nVidia GeForce 8000 / 9000 series card. These are still pretty impressive and offer good performance and often will have a second monitor port and they don't break the bank.
