Is this the strangest end to a NASCAR race ever?

What a freak accident. We are done. The track is going to need major repairs.

Actually, I've seen stranger.

Last year in a Nationwide race, Ricky Stenhouse was leading coming out of turn 4 on the last lap when the engine blew. With smoke and oil on the track, teammate Carl Edwards (who was running in second), lost control, hit the back of Stenhouse's car, and pushed it across the line for the win, with Edwards finishing second.

Jack Rousch ended up with a 1-2 finish, and two destroyed racecars.

I'm looking at the track right now and it doesn't look too bad, at least not any worse than the damage in the 2010 Daytona 500. I think they'll be racing again in an hour.

The first race of the season two things happen. 1. First time the race has been postponed. 2. Bad fire

No, not even top 10.
Pearson/Petty wreck in turn 4,
The fight on the back straight.

Worst Daytona 500 ever if it doesn't get restarted.
