The existence of atoms is universally accepted by the scientific community, as well as by most of the developed world. Atom bombs, nuclear reactors, electron microscopes, electricity, sound, the entire sciences of chemistry, physics, and biology all serve as proof for the existence of atoms.

The correct greek word is 'atomo' not 'atomos'. You don't want a modern theory? Then you should trust those crazy shepherds 2000 years ago that wrote the bible.
