Just had this weird question in my mind, that with the exact same configurations as same of a laptop and PC.. Would they differ in their efficiency due their difference in hardware size ?

First of all, this is impossible to find.
Second of all, if they have they same specifications, THEY HAVE THE SAME HARDWARE. So I don't get your point about different hardware size...
