The Rock shouldn't have come back..?

Ok, he came back, he appears on TV at his convenience.. still have people eating out of the palm of his hand.. Don't get me wrong, when The Rock used to be full time, he was my absolute favorite, and that man still is my favorite, and Cena.. well I don't hate the guy, but I don't consider myself his biggest fan either.. Not because of anything except I just like other wrestlers more.. nothing against him as a performer... Now that you know my stance on both men, I think that this time, when Rock returned.. it was the loudest ovation I have heard in ever.. but his promos lately have been weak compared to what they used to be.. say it's the PG era all you want, but fact is Rock is pushing the boundaries of the PG thing as it is.. and he is still struggling to do... it... what the rock does... it.... I just don't feel it anymore... he has lost it.... and now I read that after the match with Cena.. The Rock plans to take an extended leave from the WWE until 2013... surprising is not a word I would use to describe this news.. I mean honestly... I am thinking that The Rock needs to lose at WM, and go back to the movies... he isn't a WWE superstar anymore... he lost his touch..

Don't know about that Zodiac... if you look at sales, I think Cena merch is still going faster than Rock merch..

Is Cooking... times have changed how? I am saying that The Rock went soft.. not that people got what they wanted... I definately wanted The Rock to come back... I was one of those folks asking when.. then it happened.. it was awesome, but it fizzled out quickly and is now a huge, HUGE dissapointment to me.

You made good points here. I can definitely see why WWE wanted Rock to come back and face Cena. It's about money, and earning as big of a rating for Wrestlemania as possible. This is a dream match that the larger percentage of fans wanted to see.

On the other hand, Rock's return has taken a lot of attention away from the other wrestlers on the roster. And in the long-term, Rock will not benefit WWE. So in that respect, he generally was not needed. Don't get me wrong, Rock just might be the greatest WWE superstar of all time. However, his return was strictly about revenue. In my opinion, whether he should or shouldn't have come back depends on who you ask. Some say he should have, while other say he shouldn't. There are valid points on post sides.

I agree with your statement that Rock needs to lose at Wrestlemania. I see no sensible reason for him to defeat the top guy in the company if he's gonna be popping in for a short period of time and leaving again.

I Remember Before The Rock Returned, Users Constantly Used To Ask, When Will The Rock Return To The WWE, Will The Rock Have One More Match With The WWE, Do You Think Cena Vs The Rock Could Ever Happen, How Times Have Changed..!!

I have never liked The Rock. I was a cena fan but I stopped after looking back at his thuganomics gimmick.
Which was a LONG time ago.
Yes I agree. He needs to lose and not return. I remember he had like more charisma and was more hype but now he's a bit dull.
