Well, first of all, anyone applying religion to politics would do well to remember Romans 13, verses 1 and 2:

1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

But anyway, Obama professes to be a Christian, and he has implemented health care reform to attempt to address certain shortcomings in our health care system. That reminds me of a verse from the New Testament:

Matthew 25:36 -- "...I was sick and you looked after me...'

Anyone familiar at all with Acts chapters 2 and 4 should have no problem with Obama's actions:

"All that believed were together, and had all things in common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need."
