In your opinion, what is the difference between an excuse and a reason?
This seems to come up a lot, where someone will ask you for your reason on something, and then once you give it to them they say no excuses.
What do you think the difference is?

I think an excuse is a motive used to cover up the logic used to do an action, whereas reason is the motive behind the action itself (the logic, if you will). Excuses are usually come up with after the action has been done, while reasons are thought of before or during the action.

an excuse is to excuse your self u can be lying or making it seem impossible such as im late for work becuase i was in the restroom....thats an excuse cuz its still possible to be early and a reason is more of a serious thing like your late for work because u got in a car crash

An excuse is an attempt to justify something you could have done better.
