My rabbit is about 6 months old and is a female - I've tried to litter train her but it's just not working! But i need to find a way because i'm feeling so bad for keeping her in her pen most of the day - she loves running and i can only let her do that in the garden when i get home - and that's only when the weather's nice (which is not often in London).
How can i get her to stop pooing and urinating everywhere?! Please please please help i really want to let her just run free all around the house without having to bleach the sofas and the carpet!

I have an unspayed rabbit and she was litter trained before she was 6 months old. What really helped us was putting a hay rack above her litter box because they naturally go where they eat. Also, try multiple litter boxes, with hay somewhere around them. Our rabbit would use one litter box but was still not completely trained until we had multiple ones.
I disagree with the post above me. I have 2 litter box trained rabbits.
Is she spayed? That will play a large factor since most unaltered rabbits will not be fully litter box trained ever.

you can not litter train a rabbit, like cats, the yfollow what theri mothers do and go in a box or select corner. Some rabbits who are taken away from mama before they learn eventually go in one space, but this takes time, theri own time. She is young so she isn't going to for awhile, but I suggest get a corner litter pan, or small box and place her poop in there. As she poops in her cage, pick it out and put into the box so she will recognize it as a poop box and then will eventually pee in there.
