I'm horribly failing my English class. My teacher just reads off of the powerpoint, never explains anything, and gets mad if you ask him for help. I turn everything in, and get bad grades on it. I ask him what I did wrong, but he really doesn't say anything? Should I just withdrawal from the class and take it at another college? There's no way that I can pass. And the tutor is my English teacher from last semester, who is alsp crappy.

Better dropped than failed. Use ratemyproffesor to find a better instructor next semester. :)

Some types of financial aid, such as Pell grants, are based on your enrollment status. You can only receive the full amount of your award if you are attending full time. If you aren't a full time student, you will only receive the portion of your award that corresponds to your enrollment status (i.e 1/2 time means you will only get 1/2 of the award). At most schools, full time means you must be taking 12 or more units, so if you drop to 7 units you would be a 3/4 time student and your aid may need to be adjusted accordingly. If you have begun attending classes and it is past the add/drop deadline, your school may have the right to charge you for classes that you drop. Refund policies vary from school to school, so you would have to contact your school's FA department to determine how this would affect you.
