Hello, recently I've been having these problems with my modem/router maybe. It's a wireless router connected to the modem and I have a wired connection to my Xbox. I'll play a game of cod and it will randomly lose conection but on my iPhone the wifi works, I've tried resetting the router and modem but it still keeps doing it. Any suggestions?

Ensure your iPhone is using the same link as your Xbox - your WiFi router (not reverting to another connection or recovering faster from the disconnection). Most phones will quickly divert to the next available connection when they don't find one. I know you said 'WiFi' on the iPhine, but double check.
Are you using cable or DSL. DSL is prone to any faults on your local copper phone cable.Lift your hadset and check the noise with dialtone and check your router logs for any disconnections.
This kind of issue is almost never the router. You've effectively already discounted any wireless problems. Cable faults or EMI would likely be constant (unless turning on a device causes the problem).
plug the on the spot router rapidly into the modem. pass the change, then plug the x container into the router . switches do not assign ip addresses, that is why the x container does not artwork . Edit, you want a router, on the spot or otherwise, with different ports, or you need to commit a computing device to be a dns server. you need to purchase a 4 port on the spot router for 40 money or a lot less off the web , remember google is your buddy.
