My leopard gecko has stuck shed around his wrist?

Question

I didn't even know this was possible, but all the shed from his foot is gone and all that's left is a thin ring of shed around his wrist. I noticed today (about 5 days post shed) that it was just starting to constrict. I have tried again and again to use the whole bath in water and qtip, but he doesn't like the sink or the tub and tries to eat the qtip. I have no idea what to do because I didn't know this could happen at all. Please help!!!

Does the leopard geckos wrist look swollen? I would personally soak your leopard gecko in luke warm water. This will loosen the skin and moisten it. Also, you should put a humidity box in your leopard gecko's enclosure. A humidity box is a medium sized tupperware with a round hole the size of your leopard gecko. Fill it with Wet paper towel, sphagnum moss, or eco- earth. Make sure the humidity box is misted daily and does not become moldy. The humidity box is a key component in helping your leo with sheds. If push comes to shed and your leos wrist is swollen, remove the shed gently. I wouldn't  be surprised if your gecko just ate or removed the skin himself. I hope this helps!

Fill up the tub with warm water (not hot!!!) Until it reaches the geckos neck, then let him walk around and hang out in the water for a little while. If you don't want to force him, then there is a product (not sure of the name) that is sold at pet stores that is specially made for that sort of problem.
