Have been left out from Yugioh for a year, coming back, need some advice on latest format!!?
as stated in the topic, I would like to play Yugioh again after lefting out for 1 year.
My last dueslist pack is Extreme Victory. Can anyone explain to me what current format is like? What are the top decks and how do they works?
And I couldn't see any previous top tier deck active anymore eg. Blackwings, Lightsworn, GB, Six Sam... How are those decks working now?

and previously japan change their rules to cards like Bottomless Trap Hole can stop a special summoned monster's effect. Does that rule apply to TCG now? Thanks.
Actually in fact do you guys recommend me to come back Yugioh? I mean, it's sucking money like water.

You're referring to the Priority ruling there, and no that hasn't been applied to the TCG, and hopefully won't be :P
As for the rest of the stuff you mentioned:
The top 3 decks right now are Dino-Rabbits, Wind-Ups and Inzektors, in that order pretty much. The other two best decks right now are Chaos Dragons and Dark Worlds. Everyone is only going on about how good Six Sams are right now because they topped a YCS a few months back, and frankly why should that surprise anyone? Wind-Ups and Inzektors had only just come out, and people were all like "Oh they're amazing" so they were siding heavily for them and Dino-Rabbits because, well, they are the best decks. Six Samurai themselves are, no doubt a good deck, but I, and a lot of other players, believe the only reason they won that tournament is because nobody was expecting them, so had nothing in their side deck to counter it with, and quite frankly being able to side deck well is just as important in Yu-Gi-Oh as being able to build good decks. Also, add to this that Chaos Dragons did not, at the time, have enough time to properly deck test them, and Dark Worlds are hit by the same Side-Decked stuff as Inzektors neither were going too far.
Sorry for that long rant there, it just annoyed me to see everyone singing the praises of Six Sams despite the fact that Dark Worlds and Chaos Dragons consistently beat them at large events.
All that said, Six Samurai are still a viable deck choice, and Lightsworn also got a small boost from this Banlist. Gladiator Beats are rarely seen anymore in large events, and Blackwings are in the same boat. They've seen no new support, and still have the same limitations as before what with their good cards being limited.
All in all, I would recommend coming back in to Yu Gi Oh, because it is a fun game, and provided you have a half decent deck local tournaments can be quite fun. I mean I went in with a no-quite-finished Twilight Deck last Locals and came 3rd, only losing to Inzektors. And yeah, it does cost money, but not the $1500 that was mentioned there, I mean I've got a Chain Burn deck that can't cost much more than about £25 in total, and a Bubblebeat deck that cost me just over £50, and most of that was spent on 2 or 3 of the fusions anyway.
Now it's true that if you wanted to make a World Championship winning deck you probably would have to sink an awful lot of money in to it, but were you really intending to enter them?
One last thing I would do is before you do any trading what-so-ever, look up the values of any cards you pull from boosters. I mean if you pull a super rare Hornet it's worth about £20-£30, and you don't want to get ripped off thinking it's just a super so probably only worth a fiver tops. I mean I saw some kid trade his BLS for two Blue-Eyes at a recent tournament, and it's just kind of painful to watch.
So yeah, good luck in joining the game again, but if you do come up with a decklist, I'd suggest posting it on here before you go out and buy the cards, there are a few of us who are actually half decent at deck-building on here :P
I was watching Dr Phil yesterday. This lady had taken her boyfriend on the show because he beats her up, he had threatened to kill her many times, threaten to kill her cat etc etc. I was thinking 'why is he still her boyfriend?'. Dr Phil told her to 'find another project', because this one will kill her. She got defensive and said, it's not a project, I love him etc. mind blown. If you seek him out, you are insane. You may not be angry anymore, but I guarantee you HE IS. If you go back, you may not make it out alive this time. Obviously your family cares about you, they nursed you back to health- they picked up the pieces. I wouldn't be surprised of they turned their back on you if you went back for more. Is that what you want? You need some serious therapy. Someone who beats you does not love you, and you need to understand that. If it was a good friend of yours in this situation, what would your advice be? I had a relative who stayed with a violent man. The relationship ended when he murdered her. If he's capable of putting you in hospital, next stop is the morgue. I may sound harsh, but it's the cold, hard truth. You need to love yourself MORE than someone who would treat you like that. If your heart cannot win out, then logic HAS TO. I don't know him, but I can tell you he has no redeeming qualities - nothing he has ever done that was 'good' can make up for what he did to you. Please, get yourself some therapy. He's no a love interest, he's an addiction that will kill you.
out of the decks you listed six sams are tier 1.5 gb's are tier 1.5-2,lightsworns are tier 2 and blackwings are also tier 2 so they aren't that bad but six sams are the only one of the decks you listed that are capable of winning this years world tournament. you should definently get back into yugioh it's really fun. and it's not really all that expensive
I've also had a break, started again now, what i see is that Six Samurai are still good (won some major tournament)Then,Dino-Rabbit,also Black Wing is still one of the top decks.Bottomless trap hole still isn't banned by TCG.Why not come back to it if you want to play it ^^.
