Why would He want to be president when He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords?
Bruce
Of course. But Jesus considered political power a temptation.
Matt 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’"
You can't impose the kingdom of God by coercion. Men and women must freely choose God with their whole hearts, souls, minds, and strengths.
Cheers,
Bruce

A man who claims to have brought people back from the dead, to have walked on water, who demands his followers to abandon their families and live their entire lives according to him and who believes himself to be the only son of a perfect supreme being.
Sounds like a nice moderate president.
