If God did show Himself, would you believe then?

Investigate the Shroud of Turin. I think there is more evidence of it being genuine than there is
against it.
www.holyface.org < is this an image of Jesus? It was made long before photography could raise an image. Thaere are no particulates that would have to be there if it was painted. Scientists agree thie image is made in human blood.

Seeing isn't always believing. There were many who saw Jesus and did not believe.
That's really an amazing anomaly if you think about it.

Matthew 28 :17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

Although I personally believe the Shroud of Turin is Authentic.
The Shroud is the most studied artifact in history and is more than likely being studied at this very moment.

Why do people like you put Chrsitianity in peril when even the catholic church say it is not genuine?

The shroud, measuring 14 feet, 4 inches by 3 feet, 7 inches has been Carbon dated in tests by laboratories in Oxford, Zurich and Arizona as dating from between 1260 and 1390. This has not been discredited and stands as true!

Shrouds at the time of Jesus were two or three pieces and no record of a single piece shroud has been found!

The cloth of shrouds of the time were a simple single weave. The Turin shroud is a far more sophisticated double weave not found before the middle ages!

The shroud was easily replicated using materials found to have been used by Leonardo da Vinci who is thought to have been the faker!

As Christianity's most disputed relics, it is locked away at Turin Cathedral in Italy and further tests have been refused. If it was genuine why refuse test that might confirm that?!

The Catholic Church does not claim the shroud is authentic nor that it is a matter of faith, but says it should be a powerful reminder of Christ's passion.

People who claim it is genuine tie it so closely to Christianity that as more and more proof shows it to be a forgery and a hoax that is how Christianity will be seen!

Here's the flaw I see in this question. According to Christianity, Jesus was the son of god. He came and lived among people as a human himself. Look at how many people were against him! Plenty of people chose not to accept him as their messiah and continued with their own religions/beliefs.

So how would god showing himself once again be any different?

I'm not trying to be rude, just stating what I think here. I'm a former Catholic, so I know the teachings of Christianity and such. I don't bash it, just don't believe it. To each their own.

Peace

(I know my wording is a bit strange in some points because I'm trying to write from a religious perspective even though it is no longer my religion)

Sure

The shroud is a known hoax. Nothing to look into. And at least two pigments have been found including ochre and vermilion...so stop lying. Near perfect copies have been made using pigment on a molded face....it's pretty simple when you think about it.

Actually, they have used medieval techniques (when the shroud dates from) and made an almost perfect replica.
