Please tell me why the John and Jeff show got canceled? I read on wikipedia that they ended their Syndication as of April 2012, but I haven't heard a news story why? has something happened to either of them, was there an argument? someone has to know? on my local station their time slot has been replaced with re-runs of Dave Ramsey. I like Dave's show, but would like something else in their slot that I can't hear at another time.

I have been trying to find out what happened too. It seemed that they played only reruns of their show during all of March. Prior to that Jeff was out a lot and John was doing the show solo which was very unusual. There is no info on their Facebook page which hasn't had anything new for a year. It just seems odd that they wouldn't say anything to their fans before leaving so I have to wonder if something happened. I do hope they update us. If anyone has any news, please share!

In radio, many times you leave against your will and just want to lay low or have to due to a buyout clause. They may not have had their contract renewed.
Burn factor is another reason. If Jeff was ill, perhaps it was time to retire the show. John will resurface or maybe both once things are under control. Despite what many hosts say about their lives on the air, there are many times they have the same family problems as the rest of us and must take leaves of absence. the 3rd shift was popular, but see next paragraph.
In the end, radio is all about the money. If your local station is replaying Ramsey, it's because they don't want to lose money.
