How much bedding would you need for a 55 gallon tank?

Im gonna get another 55 gallon enclosure for my new adult corn. Question.though. I ordered 3 bricks of eco earth, each expanding to 8 qts. How many quarts for a 55 gallon and how.many more bricks will i need? Do i have to expand all 3 bricks or just 2? I just wanna know so i can go bacj to the store and stock up.

3-6 inches & i would get aspen eco earth is bad for reptiles and can get in their scales and harvest bacteria please get aspen bedding.
