Does the quality of an hdmi cable make a differance in performance from cable box to tv?

I have a monster cable given to me by a friend and a 3 dollar cables from monoprice,literally NO difference.I have about 20 cables from amazon and various vendors and styles and sizes and I am watching a new 2012 full HD 1080p 3D TV with all the bells and whistles on a 5 dollar cable all you need is a hi speed cable they dont even say 1.2 1.3.or.1.4 on the new ones they just say hi speed and for 1.4 it says on mine hi speed with ethernet.I have used all of them and havent had a bad one and all look the same not close the same.

This is asked all the time look it up on various hi def forums avs cable reviews amazon etc.No it doesnt matter if its a hundred dollar hdmi or a 5 dollar amazon or mono price cable its a digital signal,No difference,Even had a whole write up in PC World magazine.

No difference at all,whether a cable box or 3D blu ray as long as its a high speed which is rated at 10.2 mbps there is zero difference in a 5 dollar cable and a 150 dollar cable.

When you buy the $69 HDMI cable from the retail store, they smile, since they are making a huge profit. I get my HDMI cables from Amazon and the lowest price ones that meet specs.

The last ones I got were under $6.
