respond with rude answers?

Favorite Answer

Because some people post their questions in the wrong forum, like this one.

A few reasons:

* Some people are just jerks, plain and simple.

* A lot of questions here, legitimate or not, are very unintelligent, and the questioner often appears ignorant and uneducated. This is especially the case if the question revolves around extremely basic or common knowledge which you'd expect most people to know. This can provoke rude or condescending responses. The other thing to remember is that on most sections, most posters have at least some knowledge of the topic at hand (e.g. most people who answer questions in astronomy know a little about astronomy). A layperson with no experience in that field can often come across as ignorant.

* Questions about sensitive topics like politics or religion often provoke angry responses from the opposing side.

Unfortunately, we have both children and adults on these boards. The children becomes trolls and get their kicks off of being rude and nasty.

I think yahoo should have an adult section and a children section. Have an annual fee of $1 per year to join yahoo adult answers in order to separate the two groups.

It's a problem all over the net. U-tube, Aol Answers and many others are plague with this same problem.

I just joined yesterday because I can't sleep lately after a diagnosis of such devastation and peope are kind of rude but I guess maybe I shouldn't be asking my health questions on yahoo eventhough it's really trying to get more answers that I haven't gotten yet or maybe they are just rude people and have nothing else to do.. I don't know if it's always like that on here though?
